COL - Another ending

Naruto looked to the church once again with sad sight. Deep in his heart, Naruto didn’t want to go. He didn’t want to far away with his beloved one. But he can’t. He must go. Staying in Konoha will tore his feelings more and so do Hinata. Naruto didn’t want Hinata thinking about him anymore because she has Kiba in her side now.
With a small teardrop was dripping from both his blue eyes, Naruto left the church.

Meanwhile, right when Naruto was leaving, Hinata and Kiba arrived at that tree. Suddenly, Kiba stopped his steps. He turned his body and saw her eyes.
“Hinata. Please, answer my question honestly” Kiba said
“W-What do you m-mean?” Hinata replied with confused sight
“Hinata…” Kiba took a deep breath before he asked
“Do you still love Naruto?”
Hinata shocked hearing Kiba’s question. It made tears dropped again from her lavender eyes.
“S-Stop”
“Do you still love him?”
Hinata closed her ears with her hands and turned back her body.
“S-Stop it”
“Please. Answer me, Hinata” Kiba said again
“Please, Stop it! Stop forcing me!” Hinata shouted while shook her head
“Hinata!” Kiba grabbed both Hinata’s arm and turned her body so he can see her eyes clearly
“Answer me!!”
Hinata looked down. Although Kiba can’t see her faces, he can feel if Hinata’s feeling was torn into pieces just by hearing that question.
“Hinata…”
“N-No…” Suddenly Hinata stuttered
“I-I don’t l-love N-Naruto-kun. I –I don’t have a-any feelings t-towards him’sob’ a-anymore” Hinata said while whipped her tears.
“Are you sure?” Kiba asked again
Hinata replied with a nod.
“Fine! So, you won’t mind if I’ll do anything to Naruto right now, like… break his arm and leg, kill him and let his lifeless body become bird seed” Kiba said with cold tone
“W-What?” Hinata shocked
“Didn’t I say it clearly? I’ll kill him now” Kiba said with even colder tone than before
Hinata couldn’t believe what she just heard.
“Kiba’ll kill Naruto-kun? Naruto-kun’ll die?” Hinata thought. She saw Kiba’s face with really shocked sight. Tears flowed faster and even sadder than before.

Noticing Hinata’s reaction, suddenly Kiba smiled
“Just like I expected” Kiba’s tone changed
“W-What?” Hinata felt so confused
“Your eyes. Your tears. They’re telling me all, Hinata. Telling me your true feelings”
Kiba said while loosened his grab
“Your feelings toward Naruto”
Hinata became surprised more hearing Kiba’s word, but a small blush appeared in her cheeks
“I…I…” Hinata stuttered while try to cover her blush
“I know, Hinata. Don’t lie to me. I know you since we’re 12. I know how your feelings toward Naruto. And I also know if your love to that knuckle-head won’t disappear so easily”
“K-Kiba-kun…” Hinata’s face turned red
“Especially since that cave incident” Kiba grinned
“W-W-What?” Now Hinata’s face turned red as tomato
“How you know…?”
“So, I was right, wasn’t I?” Kiba grinned in totally Naruto’s style
“I don’t know and don’t want to know what happened between you two. But, that day, I realized everything. His position in your heart can’t be changed by anyone. You love him more than anyone.”
Hinata’s face turned red more
“He loves you too, right? He had said it to you, hadn’t he?”
Hinata just replied Kiba with a nod (and of course blush in her cheeks)
“Finally, that baka realized if he may miss the prettiest girl in the universe”
“K-Kiba-kun…”
“Don’t worry, Hinata. If he rejects his feelings toward you again, I’ll make this day the worst day he ever get” Once again, Kiba grinned in totally Naruto’s style
Hinata nodded with a small smile in her face
“That’s Hinata I know” Kiba smiled

“AKAMARU!!” Kiba suddenly shouted
Immediately, a big white dog arrived at Kiba’s side
“Arf!”
“You can smell Naruto’s scent, can’t you?”
“Arf!” Akamaru nodded his head
“Good. Now, please accompany Hinata to Naruto’s place” Kiba said
“Arf!” Akamaru nodded again
Then, Kiba turned his sight to Hinata
“Why are you standing there like a stone? Didn’t you want to meet Naruto?”
“Y-Yes. B-But…” Hinata stuttered
“Why are you doing this all? T-Today should be y-your happiest day a-and… y-you d-don’t have to do this”
“Must I answer it?” Kiba smiled
“Because you and Naruto are my best friends who I want to keep forever. If there’re things that I can do for my friend’s happiness, I’ll do it”
“Arigato, Kiba-kun!” Hinata suddenly hugged Kiba
“Promise me, you two will be together no matter what’ll happen” Kiba said while loosened their hug
Hinata nodded without any doubt in her face
“Now go, Hinata! Akamaru has been waiting you”
Hinata nodded again and walked approach Akamaru. Then, she rode on Akamaru’s back. Realized Hinata had ridden on his body, Akamaru immediately ran as fast as he can to the direction of Naruto’s scent.

Akamaru  ran through the village, the gate and arrived at a big forest. Akamaru stopped and searched for Naruto’s scent again.
“Naruto-kun… Where are you?” Hinata thought
Then, Hinata made hand seal
“Byakugan!”
Hinata activated her doujutsu and searched for Naruto
“Arf!” Suddenly, Akamaru barked and pointed at a direction
“This way?” Hinata asked
“Arf!” Karamu nodded
Hinata concentrated more chakra in her eyes and scanned area that Akamaru pointed. Suddenly, she stopped searching and smiled at Akamaru
“You’re right, Akamaru. This direction. 2 miles from here”
Akamaru ran again and now even faster
“I’m coming, Naruto-kun”

“Stop here, Akamaru”. Hinata said
Akamaru stopped. Hinata go down and caressed Akamaru’s head
“Thank you, Akamaru. Now come back to Konoha. Kiba-kun needs you” Hinata said
“Arf!” Akamaru turned his body and ran back to Konoha
Hinata turned her body and saw Naruto from a distance. Naruto had sat and leaned his body on a tree. Hinata could see clearly if his eyes was closed but sunlight made his face shine like a star. Hinata couldn’t stop her blush when she saw that. Slowly, Hinata walked approach him and sat beside him.
“Naruto-kun…” Hinata called softly
No reaction
“Naruto-kun…” Hinata called again
No reaction
“It’s me…” Hinata whispered
Still no reaction.
Suddenly, a bad, really bad feelings filled her heart. Immediately, she held his hand. Hinata shocked when she felt Naruto’s hand
“So cold” Hinata thought
Hinata pressed her ear on Naruto’s chest, but she didn’t hear any heartbeat.
“Naruto-kun is …” Tears appeared in her eyes
“No. No way. It’s impossible” Hinata shook her head and whipped her tears
“W-Wake-up, N-Naruto-kun. P-Please. A-Answer me” Hinata said while shook Naruto’s body.
Unexpectedly, blood dripped from his corner mouth. Hinata shocked noticed that. Really shocked
“Y-You’re kidding, r-right, N-Naruto-kun?” Hinata still shook Naruto’s body
Naruto still didn’t give any reaction. He even didn’t move a bit.
Hinata saw Naruto’s face deeply. Finally, she realized everything. Things that she scared most had happened. Her beloved person had gone. Go far away and won’t back  
“I-It can’t be…” Tears flowed on both her cheeks
“Please, Answer me!” Hinata yelled while cried and buried her face on his chest.
Hinata felt so guilty. She didn’t expect if Naruto will do such things.
Suddenly, Hinata found a piece of paper in his grab. Hinata took it and read

Why?
Why destiny allowed me to love her?
Why I must fall in love with someone whom I may not love?

It’s my entire fault
If I realized my feelings earlier
If I told her about my true feelings earlier
If…I could turn back time
Maybe it won’t end like this

But, it’s too late
I have lost her forever
She will be another person whom I couldn’t reach anymore
I couldn’t change this destiny
I couldn’t … do anything

Although I went to forget it all
I couldn’t
Every step I made
Every thing I saw
I always remember her
I couldn’t forget her

But, finally I found
Place that can make me forget everything
Place that can erase all my painful memories
Place that can make me forget her
Place that called ‘Death’

Is ‘Death’ really the answer?
I don’t know
But I don’t care anymore
I have no interest in this life
I have no interest to became Hokage anymore
How can someone like me become Hokage?
Someone who can’t understand other people’s feelings
Someone who can’t understand his own feelings
How can?

I have no time to being confused
I must choose
And I have chosen
I’ll cross that bridge alone
Bridge that’ll bring me go far way
Bridge to eternity

Forgive me if I became so egoistic
But I have chosen my own fate
Forgive me, everyone
Forgive me … Hinata

If I can wish
I want in my next life
I’ll together with person that I love
Person that I love

Hinata was crying even louder after she read it. Her heart had broken, really broken.
“Why? ‘sob’ why you leave me alone, Naruto-kun?” Hinata cried and buried her face in his chest again
“Why you didn’t wait for me?”
“I love you. I love you so much… I can’t live without you …” Hinata sobbed
Suddenly, Hinata raised her head from Naruto’s chest and stood up. While whipped her tears, She saw her –now lifeless-  beloved one.
“I won’t let you cross that bridge alone” Hinata thought
Then, Hinata formed a handseal
“Byakugan!”
Hinata concentrated as much chakra as she can in her right palm. When she felt enough, she stopped and took a deep breath.
“For you, Naruto-kun”
By using that ‘full-charged’ palm, Hinata hit her own chest powerfully. That great impact made her coughed blood. Hinata realized what she had just done and what the consequence for doing that, but she had chosen, too. Hinata wouldn’t let Naruto alone anymore. She wanted to always together with person who she loved so much, although if she… must die.    
Slowly, Hinata’s heartbeat became weaker. Her sight was fading and her body started to lose it’s power. Realized if she had no much time left, Hinata took a seat beside Naruto and rested her head on his shoulder. Hinata intertwined her fingers with him and squeezed his hand.
“Please wait a little longer, Naruto-kun. ‘cough’ We’ll meet soon” Hinata whispered

Suddenly, Hinata saw her love knelt down in one knee right in front of her (WARNING! It’s just an illusion)
“Hinata…” Naruto called
“Is that you,’cough’ Naruto-kun?” Hinata replied weakly
“Why…Why are you doing this? You don’t have to do this. You deserve to have a better life with someone who love you. Please, just leave me alone” Naruto said with a deep sad sight in his blue eyes.
“Don’t say ‘cough’ something like that, Naruto-kun ‘cough’. I won’t let you ‘cough’ alone anymore”
“Someone who I love ‘cough’ and love me back ‘cough’ only one person, Naruto-kun” Blood dripped more from her mouth
“And that person is ‘cough’ you”
Naruto shocked hearing Hinata’s words
“I love you ‘cough’. I love you so much ‘cough’. I want to be with you”
“Hinata… You…” Naruto saw his beloved face with unbelief sight, but deep inside his heart, he felt so relief. Hinata still love him, and what she had done because she loved him, she wanted to meet him, she wanted to be with him no matter what its consequence.
“I love you too, Hinata. I’ll do anything for you. I’ll give anything for you” Tears start dripped from his blue eyes
“I don’t need ‘cough’ anything, Naruto-kun. ‘cough’ I just want to ‘cough’ always on your side” Hinata coughed blood more. Her eyes was slowly closed.
“We’ll be ‘cough’ together, right?”
Naruto nodded
“We’ll be together, Hinata. No matter what’ll happen” Naruto said
“Arigato…,’cough’ Naruto-kun”
Weakly, Hinata raised her hand try to touch Naruto. Naruto, noticed Hinata raised her hand, he held her hand gently and squeezed it.
“We’ll always ‘cough’ together. Forever ‘cough’ and ever…” Hinata said weakly while her eyes was half closed
“We'll, Hinata… Forever and ever”
“Arigato… Naruto-kun” Hinata’s eyes was almost closed
“Now rest, Hinata”
Hinata smiled. Then, her hand was falling down. Her eyes was completely closed. Forever.

Hinata had gone. She had gone to her love’s side. But, there’s no regret in her face. Even, there’re smile. Not only in Hinata’s face, but also in Naruto’s face. Happiness smile. Finally, they won’t be separated anymore. They’ll be always together. Together forever… in eternity.
